Easter is such a special time, not just because it means Spring is here and we all get to indulge in festive treats, but because it’s a chance to reflect on Jesus’ resurrection and the hope He brings to our lives. As I prepared my children’s Easter baskets this year, I wanted to make sure the joy of the season is captured, while also remembering the deeper meaning behind it all and inviting them into a conversation around what Easter means to us.
I combed through some of my trusted websites (Amazon and Target haha) for items that will encourage outdoor play, learning, and fun. Here's a list of what I found and a picture of the final basket. Or, well a version of what I think will be the final. You know how it goes. This might be the first year where I'm ahead of schedule, and I have this blog to thank for that!

I stumbled upon a book called 'Spring Sings' by Elle Holcomb which incorporates the beauty of the outdoors AND teaching littles about delighting in God's gifts.
One of my goals this year is to introduce my four year old to bird watching. Candidly, I have NO experience in this - so I'll be learning right alongside her which excites me. Here's the book we're going to start with, "Backpack Explorer: Bird Watch: What Will You Find?". We already have binoculars at the house, but I paired this with a wooden magnifying glass and a butterfly catcher (only $1!!!) because.... cute.
And, of course, I’ve included a few seasonal items like cute socks, matching pajamas, and a spring bonnet just to add a bit of fun and coziness to the day.
