DIY kids Halloween costumes

Sharing a couple DIY Halloween costumes for my young kids:

Using a simple bonnet pattern, I made a kangaroo hat for my 4 year old daughter and a lion’s mane for my 2 year old son.

I added a pouch to her dress, made them each a tail, and the rest was clothes we already had! They still use them for dress-up and play time.
