One of my favorite motherhood moments is putting together gifts for my children. I've developed a certain taste for how I curate gifts. I always hope to encourage creative play, inspire curiosity and learning, and provide high quality, long lasting items for my kids.
Easter's true heart for my family comes with settling into the story of grace, the season of hope, and the deep joy of the simple things. I love those starburst jelly beans as much (more than) the next gal, but it takes slowing down and being intentional to put together a basket that draws children closer to Christ, into nature, and to a heart of gratitude.
With that, here are my Easter basket recommendations! Items for you and your children to enjoy together as you hope, celebrate, and rest.
First off, BASKETS!
Some of my favorite basket options because... who can resist?!

Easter Bunnies
Nearly any age kid can appreciate a new bunny to play with. My 1, 3, and 6 year olds all reach for their favorite stuffed animals regularly to play pretend, for comfort, or just to bring along on the car ride to school.

Books
My favorite themes for Easter books are: The Gospel, springtime, and woodland creatures. Can't go wrong! Here are some of my favorites (the list could go on!)

Outdoor Gear and Toys
Easter falls at the perfect time of year to reorient to the outdoors and the coming seasons of spring and summer. Make sure to evaluate what your kids need and will use- they'll be so thrilled to see their seasonal outdoor gear and get out to play!

Magnifying Glass for exploring bugs, puddles, and everything else
Hard cover nature journal (my kids have had their since last Easter and still use regularly)
Hope this helps you assemble and adorable basket full of hope and light for your little ones!
