It’s the new year- welcome 2025!

I’m not one for resolutions, but I do love to reflect on the year past and think on the one to come.

  • Where did I see light in the last year?

  • What pain did I walk through?

  • Who was by my side in the ups and downs?

  • What brought me laughter?

  • How did I change?

  • Who do I want to spend more time with?

  • How can I give myself more grace?

  • What life-giving practice do I want to prioritize?

  • What can I let go of?

  • What am I excited for?

I’ve been finding peace, joy, contentment, pride in my creative endeavors. This year I want to ground myself more often in being creative- on paper and in the soil. Painting, drawing, gardening, singing all the while.

Eric gave me this lovely antique secretary desk for Christmas and it’s my haven. The compartments are perfect for paints, little shelves for my Bible, magnifying glass, portraits of my babies… and any other knick knacks I collect.

The beloved close-front feature makes for a lovely escape from the curious hands of my little ones, keeping my space a bit sacred in a chaotic season of life.

Where are you finding your peace in 2025?

Cheers!
