your feet form an X- not touching yet crowded enough to be

connected.

Dream about Paris, dream about overflowing gardens,

dream about summer picnics and

winter cakes and

midnight stars that touch the moon.

Dream about who you were, who you are, who you'll be.

Dream about your doves, dream about how new their eyes are,

how they sing all night long.

Dream for all your past selves who couldn't

or didn't

or forgot how.

Chat til the babies are a little too tired,

then put them to sleep and chat some more.

Fill each other's mugs and plates and hearts with

coffee and neglected goldfish crackers and belly laughs

and every encouragement under the sun.

Moms, find other moms and be kind to them.

Then be just as kind to yourself.
